I decided beforehand on two things. One, this would be done two strips to a page, each in my normal aspect ratio. Two, it would only be pencil. Inking would have meant a total of about 3 finished strips. I'll leave that for next year, I know my limits that far at least.

The basic idea storywise, was to have Steve fall through one of the many strange doors in the lab, and spend the next 24 pages sending him through the various areas and levels of the Haven in a kind of "Scooby-Doo" chase scene style.

This did not actually happen, except in the vaguest of senses. I VERY quickly realized it wasn't going to entirly work, and so just amended things on the fly.

Starting out, I figured the best plan would be to rough out the first few pages to build momentum, and go back and add more details if I finished early. This did not actually happen, so the first page really sucked for backgrounds.
