So I spent the weekend in Minnesota, attending Fallcon. Had some fun, met some new people. Got to hang out with Zach of Joe and Monkey, and was surprised to learn that Lem "Hot Soup" is still alive.

I should be back on a normal update schedule for the forseeable future. I have some interesting changes coming up in the next few weeks, and hopefully you will find them less than terrifying.

I am finally able to work on the comic again, but at this point it looks like you're gonna have to wait till next monday... again.

The good news is I just might have a bit of guest art coming up in a day or two from an awesome source.

The reason for the delay, is I'll be attending Fallcon this weekend, and need time to finish packing things up. I've heard Zach Miller of Joe and Monkey might just make an appearance as well...

Spe-aking of that gent, it seems the trouble trinity has finally converged in the realm of Boxcar. I expect mischief-y things to ensue.

As I mentioned yesterday, there won't be a new comic up this week. I'm in a state of severe housecleaning right now, but there will be a new strip next Monday.

The winner of the original art I had put on ebay earlier has contacted me, and has donated not only the $40 the auction was pulled at, but was generous enough to send his full bid limit of $100! I'm sure that's going to make a differance in someones life, via the Red Cross.

So Eric's computer is back up and running. On Friday I realized that some of the problems I was experiencing were caused in the past by bad ram. So I pulled two sticks out, and voila, worked like a charm. So I just gotta contact mushkin for replacements. You all still have to wait for a comic since Eric won't even be back here 'till tomorrow night.

Alright, Eric's computer is seriously annoying. The only thing I can really complain about is the case, it's a piece of shit. Yes, I kinda told Eric it should be ok, but I was wrong. This thing has taken more blood from me than any Apple system I've ever worked on. Aside from the fun of it resetting about 5 times before it actually posts, I can't even get windows to get past the first part of the install. I've tried a good number of times, but it's just driving me nuts. I wanna replace the case, but that means we'll have to wait for it to come in the mail since Best Buy, CompUSA, and MicroCenter carry mostly shit. I just need to find a nice, possibly aluminum, black/silver case with a window. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I love my Kingwin, but I don't want to make Eric spend too much. So it may be a little bit longer, blame Eric's luck with computers like I do. I'll keep you all posted.

So Eric's computer is having trouble, as usual. Nothing computer related ever works for him, all he has to do is be around it and it'll start messing up. So I'll be working on it later today and hopefully have it up and running soon.
