05.23.05 04:15 PM For those of you waiting, I apologize. I've been dealing with a massive sinus headache over the weekend that simply would not go away. I should have the new strip up later this evening. 05.22.05 01:23 AM Monday's comic will be up a bit late. Too much drooling over E3 video and going out to see crappy movies. I'll try to have it up by noon, but it's running really late. My bad. 05.17.05 12:49 PM First off, a couple notes. Nick's guest strips from the other week have been moved to the fanart section, don'm miss them. And Chibi Cheerleaders has moved to a new address Here Having spent several hours last night and this morning drooling over the keyboard as info and video of the PS3 and X-Box 360 filled the net, let me give you my summary... The PS3 has a very, very large wang. The X-Box is going to experiance that wang firsthand. Judging from the preliminary info about Nintendo's offering, it's locking itself in the other room, away from the boys. The 360 was looking pretty good last week, especially with the wireless controllers and the upgraded Live service. But details on the PS3 last night absolutely blew it to hell. There's any number of game sites where you can see the comparisons, but here's my favorites... X-Box 360 1080i HD picture standard (great news, my 55" widescreen will be happy) Backwards compatability with a selection of the most popular original X-Box games. (they changed video card manufacturers or something between systems so they have to make this happen one game at a time. Sucks to be Microsoft in this case) PS3 2 simultanious and different screens of 1080P HD picture standard (Utterly, amazingly insane. My one tv can't even do 1080 progressive, let alone the fact I do not have TWO HD widescreen tvs!) Full backwards compatability (once again, Sony simply does it) Revolution Backwards compatability for sure, great news. But so far not much else. We'll know more in an hour or so, but I'll be at work. 05.16.05 10:51 AM I'll post something more substantial later tonight, but for now let me just say that Episode 3 for the X-Box really IS as bad as you've read. It just takes a couple levels for it to become truly apparent...
