Thanks to everyone who reccomended cars this week. I'm pretty well set on a Honda Matrix at this point, I tend not to haul people around as much as boxes and stuff, so it should be a welcome change from my puny Saturn SL1.

My Saturn got this one last repair while I figured things out, but the next time it goes in the shop will be it's last. But now I'll have things set to buy the new one on short notice.

In other financial news, a friend of mine is a financial advisor, and I've been enlisting her help in sorting out my current money issues. She's been nine kinds of helpful, and it looks like I should be able to wipe out the bulk of my debt in about 2 years. Of course when the car became an issue last week, that changed some. But still it looks like I should be ok within 3 years or so. If anyone in the Chicago area is ever in need of such an advisor, let me know, and I'll pass you along to her. She's damn good.

One of the things I'm going to have to do though, is cut back on the comic temporarily. As of Monday I'll be going back to once a week updates for the time being. I know I've done this too many times already, but it's not as bad as it sounds. I'll still throw the occasional something up during the week, but it's going to become difficult for me to maintain it on a constant twice-a-week basis.

The extra time during the week is instead going to go towards putting up a number of things which are cluttering my closets onto Ebay. I've been meaning to do this for some time, as there is an awful lot of it. So if you find yourself interested in anything you see, remember that the faster I move this stuff out, the faster I can get back to doing more comics.

I'll also be putting up some original art here and there. Not a lot of it, but definately some. I figure it's gotta be worth more than the paper it's drawn on at least.

So basically I'd say I'm going to about 1.5 times a week, and you'll be able to snag some art if you like. So it's not the end of the world.

You're thinking of November 2nd...

And again...The Good Little Robot.
