I apologize again for the recurring lateness of the strips. At least I'm consistent in my inconsistency. Uh, yeah.

Orneryboy announced this week that he's returning to Monday only updates. I'm not quite to that point, but I understand the situation. These things take a lot of time to do, and they can get exhausting.

You may not be able to tell, but ever since the operating room theater strip, I've been moving into a more detailed style than before. The first couple strips didn't even have backgrounds because of it, but that won't be happening again anytime soon. I'd rather delay the strip to get it right than post something half drawn. Half colored is another matter ;)

The next couple strips are taking place in the hanger, which I've changed the design for several times already. I keep wanting to do wide shots, but they're a real pain in the ass. And proper perspective ain't my strong suit.

But I'm still having fun doing it, so I'll get it done soon enough.

The March donation gift is most likely going to be some kind of sticker, with a little twist if things work out the way I want them to. I'm having some samples sent to me so I can make sure this bizarre idea of mine will actually work.

Who knows, you may hate this and I'll wind up with hundreds of the damn things lying about. Ah well, I can always use em for covering up especially stupid bumper stickers in parking lots. Kids don't try this at home, I'm a professional delinquent...

I'm notoriously picky about stuffed pandas. Any of my ex's can tell you that buying me a panda as a gift is like blind-walking a minefield. Pandas do not share the same physical structure as brown bears, no matter what the average teddy bear manufacturer wants you to believe. And I'm constantly amazed how badly they can fuck up a simple pattern of black and white. I've seen pandas with black paws and white arms, black bodies with white arms, all black except the head with a little white tail...

Dammit, a panda isn't that hard!

(btw, I'm not exempt from this. My panda looked like crap in strip 7, he'll be fixed up proper for his next appearance.)

Color at last!

I have not yet had time to even start Monday's strip, as I've been busy with other projects. One of which is the March donation gift, which I'll be announcing as soon as I can get the bugs worked out of it. Honestly it's such a simple thing, but it's taking forever to get right.

Should be pretty cool though if it works.

22 hours later and I've not had any more time to look at the strip. I took my pal Kyle out errand running for his b-day today, untill his girlfriend had the surprise party ready.

Alcoholic bowling is a treat!

Unfortunately I just got home and am working the morning shift. I'm still waiting to hear what my schedule is going to be like in the evening, but I'm going to try to wrest an hour or two from it to finish this damn strip.

It's almost 4 am, and my brain is fried. Damn you Penny Arcade and your link to Puzzle Pirates! I swear I was only manning the bilge pumps for 15 minutes, and yet somehow I lost 2 hours...

I can't see straight right now, let alone color properly. Gonna sleep now. I shall finish things up sometime today when I return from errand-land.

This is my own damn lazy fault. Though I still blame the pirates...
